Visa Application Fee increases
In April the Department of Immigration announced a planned 5.4% increase to lodgement fees for almost all applications (SC600 Visitor visas are not affected) lodged on or after 1 July 2019.

Fees increased with the standard CPI rates and the additional 5.4%, making the new fees for some common visa types as below:

Applicants for contributory parent visas will be glad to hear that there will be no increase to the Second Visa Application charge (currently $43,600 per person).
